What Applications Can They Be Used For?
As we know, it can sometimes be difficult to find the camera that is best for the application you are inspecting; with the new EXX-Series, there is a camera for whatever inspection you are tackling next.
Building Surveys
Discover defects that have been hiding right under your nose such as insulation faults, leaks in roofing as well as spotting issues like damp and mildew. The E54 & E86 cameras are perfect for this with their high resolution and wide temperature ranges.
Electrical Surveys
Locate poor connections, fuse damage and electrical leakage with the FLIR E96 perfect for discovering electrical issues with its high resolution of 640 x 480 pixels allowing you to inspect power supplies at a safe distance whilst still getting a clear and accurate reading.
Condition Monitoring
Avoid unexpected breakdowns with regular inspections of your plant equipment. With the E76, E86 & E96 you can spot issues such as overheated bearings and misalignment issues so repairs can take place before unplanned outages occur.
What do the cameras feature?
FLIR E54
This a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and the ability to measure temperatures of up to 650˚c and with the accompaniment of MSX® you can see images in even greater detail with vibrant colours and clarity.
FLIR E76
With a vast field of view, interchangeable AutoCal™ lenses that are perfect for electrical inspections, as well as an optional temperature range of 1000˚c and 3 measurement boxes; temperature reading has never been easier and more accurate.
FLIR E86
Accompanied by plenty of tools for accurate detection of hot spots, thanks to its 464 x 348 improved resolution and expanded temperature range of up to 1500˚c offering a wide coverage for inspections no matter what the application may be.
FLIR E96
The FLIR E96 is the first EXX-Series camera to have a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels helping to survey unsafe areas for hot spots. Accompanied by a laser distance meter to ensure sharp focus and accurate temperature measurements to help spot issues smoothly.
This series of cameras are also the first to come with the FLIR Inspection Route feature for pre-planning routes when you conduct your survey, this helps you to stay organised when you’re out on the field inspecting a large location; featuring a microphone for voice annotation helping you keep track of everything you see on the job, allowing you to work in perfect unison with Flir Thermal Studio.
What about the lenses?
14˚ (29mm) lenses are brilliant for focus on distant objects due to this telephoto lens having such a narrow field of view, providing you with crisp results.
24˚ (17mm) perfect for electrical surveys where you only need to stand about 3 meters away from what you are scanning due to its field of view. This is also known as the standard lens for most applications.
42˚ (10mm) If you’re looking to conduct a building survey this wide-angle lens is perfect for fitting all information into one image saving you time when you’re out on the field.
