Our thermal imaging cameras are all easy to operate. From our compact thermal cameras to our advanced Teledyne FLIR T1K series, each of our cameras comes with an easy-to-understand manual that will help you get to know your new thermal imaging equipment in no time.
But, if you are struggling with your camera, we recommend contacting us, and one of our experts will happily walk you through any issues you are having.

Infrared thermometers are designed for single-spot readings. These single-spot readings can make it easy to miss areas and render the survey pointless.
Thermal imaging cameras can quickly and efficiently conduct surveys by scanning hundreds, even thousands of spots simultaneously and display those results on the screen provided.
For example, the Teledyne FLIR T1020 can go as high as 786,432.
-
Ensuring you have an accurately calibrated camera is essential for getting accurate results from your survey. Each one of our thermal imaging cameras is factory-calibrated to provide precise temperature measurements and our brand new cameras are supplied with a full year’s calibration and warranty.
-
Over time the calibration of your camera will waver and begin to produce inaccurate results. Therefore, we recommend getting your thermal camera re-calibration booked annually to avoid any errors.
Thermascan has partnered with Teledyne FLIR which uses an exclusive 14-point inspection and calibration program that uses data from the renowned National Institute of Standards and Technology to provide re-calibration with absolute precision.
-
Thermal camera re-calibration is one of the many services we can provide. When choosing the premium service protection package from Teledyne FLIR we guarantee that your calibration will be complete within three days for any new camera purchased from FLIR (or any recognised partners) within the last year, or we will provide a replacement camera for you to use.
We can even conduct on-site calibrations, so please get in touch to let us know what your needs are and get a free quote.
